Resource Conservation and Waste Reduction
-Recycling-
Here at KLB we take our recycling seriously!
You can always recycle your soda cans, plastic bottles, paper, cardboard, phonebooks, etc here at our office. But did you know that we also recycle cell phones, ink cartridges, and electronics? Give our office a call to see if your item can be recycled. Don’t know where to take your recycled goods? We can let you know the closest destination, and in most cases get it there for you. Remember to do your part and recycle, our landfills are filling up quickly. Recycling helps to avoid contaminating our environment and makes it safer for everyone.
The City of Lewisville has opened its

Electronic Recycling:
Did you know that state law requires computer manufacturers to offer Texas consumers free and convenient computer equipment recycling? Thanks to a 2008 state law, computer manufacturers are responsible for recycling the following items in Texas: desktop and laptop computers, monitors (display devices without a tuner), and the accompanying keyboard and mouse made by the same manufacturer. This program applies to personal and home business computers only, and manufacturers are responsible for recycling only their own brands.
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) and Take Care of Texas provide valuable educational resources about computer recycling in the state of Texas. By visiting the TCEQ link below, you can find important articles about E-recycling, a directory of places you can take your electronic equipment to, as well as e-recycling flyers and brochures to share with your friends- all in the same place! http://www.tceq.state.tx.us/assistance/P2Recycle/electronics/consumer-info.html
